Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Health
The STEM-H Institute at Eastern Kentucky University focuses on outreach, teaching, professional development, and research in the STEM-H fields (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and health) to increase the number of students interested in and prepared to enroll in these fields, and to assist them in completing their degrees and entering the workforce. The STEM-H Institute also reinforces EKU's mission of student success and regional stewardship.
Students in Kentucky will become leaders in the global STEM-H driven economy.
The STEM-H Institute’s mission is to increase the number of K-20 students in the Commonwealth of Kentucky who are interested in and able to complete the degrees and/or preparation required to enter the Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Health (STEM-H) workforce.
